Nine days ago I started to observe my sleep habits. I'm wearing a WHOOP 4.0. My sleep had been okay. I was curious to see whether or not I'm getting the right amount of REM and deep sleep. Turns out, I am. However, should I wake up I get distracted from sleep. I become hyper vigilant -- there's a green light emitted from the sensor and I'm VERY aware of the device on my wrist.

The emphasis should be placed on whether or not one is healthy. Focusing on numbers is not the goal. Living a long, happy life is the goal.

For 3 months I wore a CGM (continuous glucose monitor).
For a few months I logged all my meals.
When it became arduous I discontinued my membership.
