My bio age is 46.32 years v. my chronological age of 58.17. You can discover your biological age using an online calculator. I've used AgelessRX. Setting up the account was free. The data was pulled from the recent Advanced Panel from BluePrint Bryan Johnson.
Currently I'm participating in a study to see whether or not taking Beta Glucan 500, once daily, for 90 days will slow my pace of aging.
I'll post the results when they come in.
Don't hold your breath, after the 90-days I'm sent a kit and the kit needs to be processed.
You might as well go binge all of your favorite shows, enjoy the entire summer,
and plan your costume for Halloween... See you when I see you.

I'm happy with the most recent Levels Lab blood panel. While not nearly as exhaustive as the Blue Brint Advanced Panel, for the cost of $99 per panel, Levels offers me a snapshot of 5 critical markers.
Waiting for the results of the recent test. Will post once they arrive.

My score of 33% puts me just over the line. I'm going to talk to a trainer at the gym. Recently, I've gained muscle mass and I never get too caught up in the numbers. They're guide posts. For me, blood work is king.
The Army studied troops and body mass. They found that troops with the lower scores performed better in the field.
The Army would approve of my score!
That and $3,50 will get me a ride on the subway.
I've become obsessed with the Higi machine at my supermarket. Each time I shop I make a point of checking my "vitals." I've been monitoring my results for the past year.
Creating a free Higi account, as easy as falling off a log. Should you be a citizen scientist and curious about your stats, it takes only a few minutes and voilà!
If you're paranoid about data collection, use the machine as a guest. If you're a data hog, create an account and save the results.

My name is Ilsa Jule and I'm super-healthy. I look nothing like the royalty-fee image above.
My ears are much smaller.
I'm not thrilled with the fact that the gut score decreased. I'm healthy. As a lark did a 30-day trial to measure the impact. Took Align 24/7 Digestive Support, one capsule in the morning on an empty stomach, for 28 days. Based on this result, won't be taking anymore commercial probiotics. My money is better spent on a food-based approach: yogurt, pickles, sauerkraut.
The longevity score decreased. See the above notes. I'll see how a food-based approach works.
Earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to attend the Don't Die Summit in Los Angeles. BIOHM had a booth and knocked off $50 from the kit for Don't Die attendees. I was game. Kit in hand, when I got back to my hotel I scooped a little poop, sent in the sample, and waited. About a month later I got the results and was irked. My gut wasn't nearly as healthy as I thought it would, or should, be. It's not that I'm the most virtuous person, but I like to think that I'm healthy.
Since receiving these low scores, I made a few changes. In February, I added a probiotic. I have since reduced my sugar intake and upped my fiber through more fruits and vegetables. The hope was to crowd out the bad guys and give the good bugs something to nosh on. In April, I sent in another kit and am awaiting the results.
In the past I've noticed that small changes to my diet have
made a big impact on my health.
Really not sure where the mold came from.
Although, in my youth I did some dumpster diving in New York City. In 2009 after eating some organic apples scavenged from the bins at Whole Foods on the Bowery, I did have an allergic reaction. I'm not allergic to apples, per se. My entire mouth was swollen, my throat was itchy but my esophagus did not close up, and my body felt uncomfortable.
Do I get to blame one bad apple in the Big Apple?
